Biography
Mr Chen has 29 years of exploration and production experience in the oil and gas industry with the Sinopec group of companies. Prior to joining Addax Petroleum in March 2017, he worked as General Counsel of Sinopec International Petroleum Exploration and Production Corporation (SIPC) in Beijing during three years. Mr Chen held various positions as Project Manager, Technical Supervisor, General Manager and Vice-President for SIPC’s overseas assets including in Indonesia, Venezuela and more recently Angola. Mr Chen is a citizen of the People’s Republic of China. He holds a PhD in Solid Earth Geophysics from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing.
