Gilles Alberici

Biography

Gilles Alberici (born in 1957) is a member of the Board of Directors. He is a pharmacist and earned a Ph.D. in immunology in 1985 from Paris University.Dr. Gilles Alberici is the Founder of Octalfa SAS. Dr. Alberici serves as the Chairman and President of Octalfa SAS. He is a Co-Founder and President of Orega Biotech SAS. He served as Development and Manufacturing Director of biological agents of Mérieux Group. Dr. Alberici founded and managed IMTIX Pasteur-Mérieux business unit in 1994. He served as President of IMTIX-SangStat, where he managed more than 140 people in 12 different countries. Dr. Alberici founded EUSA Pharma SAS in September 1999. He served as the President of EUSA Pharma SAS and its subsidiaries since September 1999 and also served as its Chief Executive Officer. He has 20 years experience in the European pharmaceutical industry. He serves as a Director of Alizé Pharma SAS, Glycode SAS. Dr. Alberici served as a Non-executive Director of EUSA Pharma (Europe) Ltd. He served as Director of Polyplus-transfection SA, Ipsogen SA and QIAGEN Marseille S.A. Dr. Alberici is the author of more than 40 publications and four issued patents. Dr. Alberici is a Pharmacist and Doctor in Immunology. Dr. Alberici obtained his PharmD (1981) from Paris University and then was resident and researcher in Immunology at Institut Gustave-Roussy, where he received his Ph.D. in Immunotoxicology.
