Marina Gurvich

Biography

Dr. Gurvich received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia, graduating with Cum Laude honors, and her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. During optometry school, she completed her externships in private practice and ophthalmology settings in the metro-Atlanta area. Upon graduation, Dr. Gurvich received additional training with a residency at Woolfson Eye Institute, where she focused on refractive surgery and ocular disease. Most recently, Dr. Gurvich presented a LASIK overview to SCO residents and faculty in Memphis, TN. Also, she presented a research poster on “Topography Patterns Among Candidates Seeking Refractive Surgery” at the 2011 annual American Optometric Association meeting in Salt Lake City, UT.
