Biography
Dr. Tieu is a Georgia native who received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia State University in 2011, graduating with Cum Laude honors, and his Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He discovered that he wanted to become an optometrist while he was attending high school at Duluth High School. During optometry school, Dr. Tieu served as president of the Georgia Optometric Student Association and Vice President of the National Optometric Student Association. He has also participated in international missions trips to Caledonia, Belize and Les Cayes, Haiti. Dr. Tieu completed his internship training in Baton Rouge, LA, Memphis, TN, and Atlanta, GA. He is passionate about being up to date with the latest research and implementing the most up-to-date technology to provide the most current and effective care.
