Biography
Mr. Oscar Buset, PhD is a Co-Founder of Anokion SA. Mr. Buset is Dean Adjunct of the Faculty of Engineering at EPFL. Mr. Buset served as President of Kimotion Technologies Belgium BVBA. Mr. Buset founded Snaketech in 1996 and served as its Vice President responsible for place and route products until acquisition by Simplex Solutions in 2000 (since acquired by Cadence). Prior to helping start Anokion, Mr. Buset co-founded Kimotion Technologies. From 1988 to 1990, he worked in the CAD department of Bell-Northern Research (now Nortel), focusing on analog simulation. He has several patents pending in the field of physical design. He obtained a PhD from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) in 1996 and MSc (Electrical Engineering) and B.Math.(Computer Science) degrees in 1989 and 1986 from the University of Waterloo, Canada.
