Biography
Mr. Stephan Kontos, Ph.D. is a Co-Founder of Anokion SA and serves as its Director of Research. During Mr. Kontos' thesis work in Jeff Hubbell’s group, he co-invented and developed the erythrocyte-binding tolerance technology that led to the founding of Anokion. Mr. Kontos received his B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and moved to the EPFL for his doctorate in Bioengineering. Following completion of his PhD, he further advanced several design aspects of Anokion's core technology as a post-doctoral researcher.
