Biography
André Maurer joined Swiss Post in 1986. After a few years working for post offices in Zürich and Geneva in 1990 he started working for the Mail Sorting Centre in Zurich. In 1994 he took over responsibility for the International Exchange Office of Zurich 1 and started his career in the international mail business. In 2000 he joined Swiss Post International and following several management jobs in IT & Logistics, he was promoted to Member of the Management Board of Swiss Post International, in charge of Global Operations & Network Management. André Maurer studied Logistics Management at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and graduated with an Executive Diploma HSG and the European Master Logistician Level (EMLog) from the European Logistics Association. He lectures in logistics education programs at GS1 Switzerland and acts as an expert for logistics exams. Out of the office he likes to travel and enjoys Geocaching.
