Biography
Lionel Berthe joined the Group La Poste in 1995 after graduating in finance and law from the Institute of Political Studies and receiving a joint master from HEC business school and Paris University. Lionel has held various positions inside the La Poste group, starting in HR department at headquarter level, then moving to different roles in the international activities of the group. First in the international mail businesses, at headquarter level, then as business development manager for North America, and then head of strategy and M&A, and later moving into a newly created subsidiary, La Poste UK limited, as the first CEO of the company. Returning from the UK, Lionel took a position in the French B2C parcel division of La Poste, Coliposte, as International Operations Director, a position he occupied for six years before joining Asendia in August 2012. Out of office, Lionel enjoys reading history books and spending time with his family, playing football with friends and mountain biking.
