Biography
Rolf Nyfeler studied chemistry at Basel University and was awarded his doctorate in 1979. Afterwards he deepened his knowledge with postdoc stays at the Max-Planck-Institute in Martinsried and at the University of California in San Diego. Rolf Nyfeler joined Bachem in 1982. For many years he was responsible for Research and Development in Bubendorf. Then, after spending some time as Head of Production in the subsidiary in California, he became COO of the Parent company in 1998. From 2002 to 2012, he was CEO of the Bachem Group and Chairman of the Corporate Executive Committee
