Since 2013 Chairman of the Board of Directors of BB Biotech AG, before that Member of the Board for two years. 2005-2011 Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Head of the Corporate Executive Committee of the Roche Group. 2001-2005 member of Corporate Executive Committee and Group Chief Financial Officer at Roche. 1998-2001 Chief Executive Officer of Diethelm-Keller Group. 1997-1998 CFO of Corange Ltd.. 1988-1997 various positions, including CFO and Head of Pharma at Boehringer Mannheim; and with Diethelm Keller Group, ultimately as CEO. Ph.D. in industrial engineering from the ETH in Zurich. Also member of the Board of Directors of AB2Bio AG
