Biography
Stephan has 8 years of experience in the biotechnology industry across marketing, business development and R&D. He joins Biognosys from Novozymes, a leading Danish biotechnology company, where he was Global Marketing Manager for 4 years. Prior to that, Stephan was a business developer at Evolva, an innovative Swiss biotech company. He started his career in biotechnology as a research group leader at Evolva. Stephan graduated from the ETH Zurich in biochemistry and for his PhD joined the group of Bernard Witholt at the Institute of Biotechnology, ETH Zurich, focusing on protein engineering and high-throughput biocatalyst selection. Stephan holds an MBA from the University of St. Gallen.
