Biography
Alain has been partnering with CarthaGenetics for the Swiss market since 2015. Trained as a Pharmacist at the University of Lausanne (1993), Alain brings on board more than 20 years of sales, marketing and management experience, with specifically 10 years in Orphan Drugs. During his nearly 8 years with Shire, Alain ensured several roles, from Country Director Switzerland to General Manager, Switzerland & Benelux, with the respective Country Directors reporting to him. Alain was in charge of four marketed Orphan products, with three launched during this period. He provides CarthaGenetics customers with an in-depth knowledge of the Swiss market and its related OD highly specialized ecosystem. Alain is based close to Montreux, Switzerland.
