Biography
Mr. David P. Johst serves as the Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Charles River Laboratories International, Inc. and has been its Corporate Executive Vice President of Human Resources since 2005. Mr. Johst is responsible for overseeing Human Resources and global Regulatory & Quality Assurance groups, as well as several other corporate staff departments at Charles River Laboratories International. He served as Secretary of Charles River Laboratories International Inc. He joined Charles River Laboratories International Inc. in 1991 as Corporate Counsel and later served as Vice President, Human Resources and Administration since 1995. He served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources & Administration of Charles River Laboratories International since 1999. He served as a Corporate Associate and Attorney at Hale and Dorr, Boston. He serves as a Director of BioFocus DPI Ltd. Mr. Johst is a graduate of Dartmouth College, holds an M.B.A. from Northeastern University and received his J.D. from Harvard University Law School.
