Biography
Mr. William D. Barbo has been Chief Commercial Officer and Corporate Executive Vice President at Charles River Laboratories International, Inc. since October 2016 and served as its Corporate Senior Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing since 2010 until 2016. Mr. Barbo began his career at Charles River Laboratories in 1982 as a research scientist and progressed through a number of product management positions of increasing responsibility during the years that followed. In 2006, Mr. Barbo was promoted to Corporate Vice President, Research Model Services, where he was responsible for the global research models services business. Since 2009, Mr. Barbo has played an integral role in the global sales organization as Corporate Vice President, Global Strategic Accounts and European Specialist Sales. Mr. Barbo holds a B.S. in Biology from Boston College, an M.S. in Cell Biology from the University of Massachusetts and an M.B.A. from Northeastern University.
