Biography
Prof. Dr. Thomas Rautenstrauch is head of the Center for Accounting & Financeof the HWZ as of July 1, 2009. He studied Business Administration at the University of Göttingen (Germany) with additional study visits at the University of Surrey (GB) and the Université de Bordeaux (F) with the degree Diplom-Kaufmann. In addition to his doctorate at Ernst & Young, he earned his doctorate degree at the Department of Economic Sciences at the University of Göttingen in 1997 with a dissertation on knowledge-based systems in the area of ​​business informatics. Thomas Rautenstrauch worked for several years as Head of Cost Controlling in the Corporate Controlling of Continental AG in Hanover. Since 2000, he has been a specialist author as well as a professor and lecturer at various universities of applied sciences and universities in Germany and abroad.
