- A strategic procurement and supply chain management (PSCM) leader with ~20years of success in developing & implementing PSCM strategies in support of major Oil & Gas projects in Europe, North America and Africa. This includes experience of procurement transformation with a top global management consultancy - Extensive experience of managing teams in multi site & multi cultural organisations to deliver value in the management of huge ($1bn+) third party spend activities. - Deep knowledge & experience of implementing category management organisation & processes in global organizations. Includes experience of implementing procurement systems i.e. SAP R/3 (MM), Ariba’s ondemand sourcing tool and Biznet Solutions (for supplier performance management.) - Extensive experience of working in production sharing contract (PSC) & joint venture (JV) environments and setting up multi-layer tender boards for contract approvals & award. - Holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Mathematics, professional certification in purchasing & supply (MCIPS) and MBA in Management.
