Biography
Steve Wooding, M. D., is Head, Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO) and Market Access Organization, a position he assumed in June 2015. He is a member of the Pharmaceuticals Group Operating Committee (GOC), reporting to Joaquin Duato. Previously, Steve served as Area Managing Director for Janssen United Kingdom (UK), Ireland and South Africa, and Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand. He joined Johnson & Johnson with Janssen UK in 1992, and held several positions of increasing responsibility within R&D, Medical Affairs and Commercial in the UK, Ireland, South Africa and Canada.Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees from St. Bartholomew’s Hospital in London. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine and holds an MBA from Henley Management College, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom.
