Biography
He is a founder and leads the finance, operations and partnering activities at Corvidia. Ram was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at BioHealth Innovation (BHI) and in his role built multiple startups in Maryland playing the role of interim-management with the scientific founders. During his time as BHI he has raised over $15M across multiple early stage biotech companies. Ram has built multiple strategic alliances and partnerships with stakeholders from biopharma and academic communities. He brings over 15 years of diverse expertize with product development experience at Janssen Pharmaceuticals, finance experience at JP Morgan and investment experience at Sofinnova Partners. Ram was the recipient of the Philip B. Hoffmann award for excellence in Science at Janssen for work done on erythropoietin agonists. Ram holds a MS/PhD from Drexel University and an MBA from INSEAD.
