Biography
Ruth Markland is an independent non-executive of the board of Deloitte LLP. She was a partner of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer until 2003, and was a non executive director of Standard Chartered plc until December 2015. She is a senior independent non executive director at The Sage Group plc and is also a member of the supervisory board of Arcadis NV. Between 2006 and 2012 she chaired the board of trustees of Royal Voluntary Service.
