Biography
Béla Bernhardt is Head of Business Technology Support Americas. In his role, he oversees the local information technology (IT) functions across the Americas region including all entities and businesses in North America and Latin America, and implements IT strategies and solutions resolving technical, operational and organizational challenges. Career History Béla Bernhardt has 18 years of experience building world class teams, launching innovative solutions and solving complex technological and organizational challenges. He is a trusted IT advisor and creative problem solver. Bela joined us in Germany in 2003 as an in-house IT consultant before he got promoted to Head of Information Management Chemicals in 2006. In this role, he acted as the global IT Business Partner of Chemicals and oversaw the IT functions of Japan, Taiwan and Korea as a regional IT manager. In the last five years, he has acted as the global IT business partner of Performance Materials and the global EQ function. He has shown consecutive success in delivering multi-year IT roadmaps in the area of M&S, R&D, Operations and Compliance. Bela holds a Ph.D. from Technical University in Darmstadt, Germany.
