Biography
Hans-Martin Fischer is currently working as professor, Department of Biology of ETH Zurich.
Research Interest
Hans-Martin Fischer research interest include: molecular determinants of bacteria-plant interactions with special emphasis on the symbiosis between nitrogen-fixing rhizobia and leguminous host plants. The focus is on the molecular understanding of genetic regulatory circuits which enable symbiotic bacteria to cope with changing environments and stress conditions including those prevailing during host plant infection.
