Biography
Bumjin Jang was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1984. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering from Dankook university, South Korea in 2010. During his B.S, he was also enrolled in M.S. Nanotechnology program, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden as an exchange student for one year. In the following year (2010- 2011) he worked in Korea Institute of Technology (KETI), South Korea as a student researcher with the research topic, ''Solution process based organic thin film transistors''. In 2012 he obtained his M.S degree in KTH, Sweden. During M.S, he conducted his M.S. thesis '' Supported lipid bilayer formation by freezing and thawing technique in the Laboratory of Biosensor and Bioelectronics group, ETHZ, Zurich. In July 2012, he started his PhD study at MSRL. He is currently involved in a European project ''Magnetic Nano Actuators for Quantitative Analysis''. His main research interests are Silicon process, advanced materials and its biological applications
