Biography
Hen-Wei Huang was born in Taipei, Taiwan, Nov. 1987. He received his bachelor and master degrees in mechanical engineering from National Taiwan University(NTU) in 2011 and 2012, respectively. Also, he minored in Chemical Engineering and Geography during the period of bachelor degree. From 2012 to 2013, he joined to the army for military service and served as a Psychological counseling. After one year military service, he worked as a research assistant in Applied Science Center of Academic Sinica and Graduate Institute of Electronics Engineering of NTU for half a year. From 2014 Jan. to 2014 Mar.,he joined to a startup company MedSense. Inc, served as R&D Engineer and was responsible of developing new novel type of blood pressure sensor. His research interests include wireless sensor network (WSN), embedded systems for biomedical applications, bi-stable microactuators, sensor technologies, microfluidics, and Lab On Chips. He is member of IEEE, ASME, CSME and STAM. He is also the recipient of the outstanding creativity performance scholarship of the CTCI Foundation, and the recipient of the MOE Technologies Incubation Scholarship. His master researches also won lots of paper award. In Apr. 2014, he joined to the MSRL as Ph.D student.
