Biography
Xiangzhong Chen was born in 1986 in China. He received his bachelor degree (2007) in Polymer Materials and Engineering. After six years' study, he got his Ph. D in 2013, majoring in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Nanjing University. His Ph.D thesis is about the application of ferroelectric polymers in the field of data storage, energy storage and energy conversion. During pursueing his Ph.D, he studied as a visiting student (Oct. 2011- Apr. 2013) in Prof. Qiming Zhang's group at Materials Research Institute of The Pennsylvania State University, where he conducted his research on the electrocaloric effect of ferroelectric polymer blends and nanocomposites. In November 2013, he joined MSRL as a postdoctoral associate
