Xiaopu Wang

Biography

Xiaopu Wang was born in Shanxi, China in September 1989. In 2012, she graduated from Shanxi University as a bachelor in the field of chemistry. After that, she received her master’s degree in Chemical Engineering at Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry (IPC) of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2015. Her master thesis focuses on the synthesis of a series of photo-initiators and their applications in two photon polymerization (TPP/2PP) to fabricate scaffolds for Tissue Engineering. Her research experience about the fabrication of nanostructures excited her interests to make and utilize nano-robotics. In September 2015, Xiaopu joined the Multi-Scale Robotics Lab (MSRL) as a PhD student.
