Gavin Jelic-masterton

Biography

Gavin is a highly experienced pharmaceutical and biotech professional with over 20 years experience in both local and global roles in sales, marketing and management. He has a strong background in the Reproductive Health Therapeutic Area, having spent the last 14 years working exclusively in Fertility and IVF. He graduated in 1994 with a BSc in Psychology and Health and started his career as a pharmaceutical market researcher at NOP Healthcare and then Martin Hamblin GfK healthcare in London, where he gained invaluable experience in the importance of understanding the needs of patients, nurses and healthcare professionals when developing and commercialising pharmaceuticals, diagnostics and devices. In 2000 Gavin Jelic-Masterton joined Serono (latterly Merck Serono) International in Geneva, Switzerland. He led the Business Intelligence Function for the Reproductive Health Franchise and then became Global Marketing Director for Reproductive Health. Gavin joined Ferring Pharmaceuticals in 2009 becoming the Head of Global Marketing for the Fertility Therapeutic Area and taking responsibility for the strategic direction of the largest revenue stream for the company. He joined Finox Biotech in 2013 as Senior Vice-President, Head of Global Marketing and Commercial Operations, responsible for developing the pricing, marketing and commercial strategy for the company. Gavin Jelic-Masterton has served as Chief Executive Officer since July 2013.
