David Bautze had done his B.Sc. Organic Farming and Marketing, HNE Eberswalde (Germany); M.Sc. Landuse and Water Management, BTU Cottbus and Research assitant in the project "Long-term farming systems comparisons in the tropics" in India (SysCom). Since 2016 Researcher in the project "Long-term farming systems comparisons in the tropics" in Kenia (SysCom).
