Biography
From 1998 to 2007, Paola Gaeta was consecutively Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor of International Law at the University of Florence. In 2007, she became Professor of International Criminal Law at the University of Geneva and Director of the LL.M. in International Humanitarian Law at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights. Paola Gaeta then joined the Graduate Institute in February 2010 as Adjunct Professor, and led the Geneva Academy from 2010 to 2014.
Research Interest
Her principal areas of expertise include, amongst others, international criminal law, international immunity law and conflicts of jurisdiction in criminal matters.
