Biography
Stephanie C. Hofmann (PhD, Cornell University) is Associate Professor in the Department of International Relations and Political Science at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. Since 2017, she is also the program co-director for the Executive Master for International Negotiation and Policy-Making. Prior to arriving at the Graduate Institute, she was a Jean Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute (Italy) and a Visiting Research Fellow at the Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (Germany). She held visiting research positons at Columbia University (2014) and the Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin for Sozialforschung (2015-16).
Research Interest
Stephanie Hofmann is author of European Security in NATO’s Shadow. Party Ideologies and Institution Building (Cambridge University Press, 2013) and she has published extensively on regional organizations, European and international security, networks, and global order.
