Oliver Osswald

Biography

 Holcim gives me great freedom coupled with responsibility and this is very motivating for me. I am currently responsible for Sales within Holcim Switzerland, which requires selling cement, ready-mix concrete and aggregates to customers within our market. In my role I enjoy managing people and achieving results together with the complexity of three language regions and three very different cultures. During my 15 years with Holcim, I have had the luck to have many interesting and exciting opportunities. I began as a trainee in Mexico looking after quarry operations and then at the age of 28, I had responsibility for a cement plant. The flexibility of career paths within Holcim enabled me to change over to a different path as director for ready-mix and aggregates in Switzerland and later to my current role.
