Biography
Eric is an expert in molecular genetics and biochemistry with a broad and proven record in both academic and industrial research. Eric successfully led the antibody division of the leading swiss based diagnostics development company Prionics AG. He also has a broad teaching experience and a basic business administration education. Eric started his scientific carrier as a postdoc at the Biocenter, of University of Basel, Switzerland and at the Whitehead Institute, M.I.T., in Cambridge, USA. He continued his scientific carrier as scientific assistant at the Institute of Molecular Microbiology & Genetics, at the University of Göttingen, in Germany. Eric gained industrial experience as project leader and leader of the antibody department of Prionics AG, Schlieren, Switzerland. In 2004, he joined the University of Applied Sciences Nordwest Switzerland in Muttenz. In 2006, he was appointed lecturer and principal investigator in the molecular genetics field.
