Biography
In 2003, Dr. Jullien Gear founded the Bio City Development Company, a healthcare development company that is currently leading the development of major healthcare infrastructure projects in emerging markets. Dr. Jullien Gear has been an advisor to several private equity & venture capital groups valuating potential investments in the life sciences sector. He is also an active Member of the Faculty of Examiners at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Since working in France, Dr. Jullien Gear has been an active Chirurgien de l’Espoir for the French based medical charity Chaine de l’Espoir (www.chaine--â€espoir.asso.fr/). The charity, founded by Professor Alain Deloche, is dedicated to the provision of specialist surgery for children and young adults in developing countries. Dr. Jullien Gear has recently been appointed to the Advisory Board of Hutman Diagnostics AG.
