Biography
Michael obtained his PhD in 2010, at the Wellcome Trust Centre for gene regulation and Expression, University of Dundee. At the ETH-Zurich as a Marie-Curie research post-doctoral fellow, he was characterising the rapid changes in gene expression that program the inflammatory response, in response to microbial infection. He previously worked for Axis-Shield Diagnostics (now acquired by Alere) in “On Market Support” an interface between R&D and Manufacturing, performing product development, for a range of automated cardiovascular disease markers, based on Immunoassay and Enzymatic formats.
