Biography
Jean-Marc Hunziker is leading the IBM Research THINKLab - Zurich since June 2012. He is responsible for the constant evolution of this Think Tank and its capabilities to deliver extraordinary client experiences: Experiences that help clients envision how IBM can help them transform the way they do business. Experiences that touch the most inspiring innovations IBM has to offer. Experiences that connect clients directly to IBM researchers and their work. Jean-Marc and his team host decision makers of enterprises, governments and academia. They come to pick the brain of IBM researchers, industry and trend experts, to discuss the business impact of technology trends and to tackle today's and tomorrow's challenges. Prior to his current role Jean-Marc was responsible for leadership development at IBM Switzerland with the misson to develop future and experienced leaders through global and complimentary local programs. As an experienced leadership coach and facilitator he delivered workshops in learning environments, in outsourcing projects, in business transformations, in change and teambuilding situations. From 1999 to 2002 he was project leader for sWISH* - a cultural exhibition and communications project that was part of the Swiss national exhibition EXPO.02 - on behalf of IBM and co-sponsor Swiss Re. Jean-Marc joined IBM in 1988. He worked as communications specialist until 2001 in IBM Switzerland and IBM Paris (94/95). He managed local, international and global marketing campaigns and was the leader of the marketing and communications departments (1996 to 2001).
