Biography

I am a PhD student at the Institute of Telematics (chair of Prof. Dr. habil. Martina Zitterbart) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and a pre-doctoral researcher at IBM Research, Zurich. In the past I have worked on many topics, such as hardware design, implementation and test (Blue Gene/Q CPU & network), firmware and Linux kernel development, FPGA development and distributed memory, storage and file systems. These days, I'm focused on how to make heterogeneous clusters (i.e. such with GPUs, FPGAs and various different kinds of CPUs) more efficient and effective to use.
