Biography
I am a signal processing and machine learning researcher and a music enthusiast. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Idiap Research Institute Martigny, Switzerland, where I currently work on Automatic Speech Recognition for Air Traffic Control applications. I obtained a PhD from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain working at the Music Technology Group (MTG) on the CompMusic project. Before joining MTG, I was a research assistant at the Georgia Tech Center for Music Technology. Prior to joining Tech, I worked at GE Global Research, John F Welch Technology Centre, Bangalore. I have a Masters in Signal Processing from the Dept. of Electrical Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal.
Research Interest
My research interests include Speech, Audio and Music Signal Processing, Machine Learning, Biomedical Signal Processing, and Psychoacoustics.
