Biography
I am a PhD student at École Polytechnic Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Electrical Engineering (EDEE) and research assistant at Idiap Research Institute working under the supervision of Prof. Hervé Bourlard My PhD thesis aims at developing a query by example spoken term detection system which can be used to search spoken queries within a set of large audio archives irrespective of the underlying language. The system can further be used to search over the multimedia data available on the internet as a system analogous to the existing text based search.
