Research Interest
I did my master in mathematics at ETH Zürich. In the end of 2014 I started my PHD in the group of Prof. Angelika Steger with the aim to use my knowledge about mathematics and random graphs to contribute to the field of Neuroscience. I want to understand how the brain performs its miracoulous computations. Especially I will investigate the roll of randomness in these computations. Since most small components of the brain like neurons and synapses are probabilistic randomness seems to play a major roll in the performance of the brain. Currently I am investigating how a randomly connected network can be used to efficiently store information using biologically plausible learning mechanisms.
