Biography
Marco Zaffalon (M.Sc. Comp. Sc., ´91; PhD Applied Maths, ´98) is a Professorat IDSIA. He leads a research group made of 10 people; is Area Editor forInternational Journal of Approximate Reasoning; was President of Society for Imprecise Probability: Theories and Applications; co-chaired conferences ISIPTA´03 and ISIPTA ´07. Interests in Bayesian/credal nets, classification, missingdata, foundations of probability. In the last 3 years he has published 14 journal papers, 5 of them in top journals, and he has received grants for about 2.3 millions of swiss francs.
