Biography
French national born in 1968, Pascal Casanova has been a Member of the Executive Committee of LafargeHolcim Ltd since July 2015 and is responsible for North America and Mexico. He is a graduate of the École Polytechnique and the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in civil engineering, and holds a PhD in Materials and Structures . Pascal Casanova was hired in 1999 as Technical Director for Lafarge and was subsequently appointed Head of R&D and Industrial Performance of the Roofing activity based in the UK. In 2005, he directed the international activity of Roofing Components headquartered in Oberursel, Germany, ensuring its international development, particularly in Malaysia, USA, South Africa, Brazil and Western/Eastern Europe. In 2008, he was appointed Head of R&D of the Lafarge Group. In 2012 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Lafarge France.
