Biography
I graduated from University of Lausanne, Switzerland. After few weeks at the Burnham Institute in La Jolla, California, I returned to Switzerland to do a Ph.D. and spent a decade studying immune responses to pathogens and made groundbreaking discoveries on the association between T-cell polyfunctionality and immune signatures of effective control. I joined the Department of Oncology, in Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2014, and am currently a Ludwig Lausanne Branch team leader of the Antigen Discovery Unit and Director of the Immune Monitoring and T-cell Discovery Core. I am also the Associate Director of the Center of Experimental Therapeutics. I am currently focusing on the field of antigen discovery, developing methodologies for the development of personalized immunotherapy. I am author of more than 65 peer-reviewed publications and the recipient of several awards, and am a Bill & Melinda Gates foundation Young/Early Career Investigator Honoree.
