Biography
Hajo Riesenbeck is Managing Director at the Riesenbeck-IC GmbH, serves on the Board of Trustees of the NGO Welthungerhilfe and represents the Republic of Austria in North-Rhine-Westphalia as its Honorary Consul. He was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of GfK SE from 2005 to 2008. From 2003 until founding Riesenbeck-IC in 2009, and in addition to his client work, he was also responsible for the external and internal communication of McKinsey & Company globally. After three years at Unilever, Hajo Riesenbeck joined McKinsey in 1979. Back then he primarily worked in the consumer goods and retail sector which he led from 1986 to 1993 in Germany. Concurrently, he built the functional Marketing & Sales Practice in Europe and successfull led it to its present importance. Hajo Riesenbeck studied economics in Münster and graduated as Diplom Kaufmann.
