Biography
Cinzia was part of the Okairos team in Italy from 2007 onward, heading the Regulatory Affairs function. She was previously at IRBM where she coordinated several projects in the field of humoral immune response against hepatitis C virus (HCV), in vivo models of HCV replication and development of drugs against HCV targets. She has been the author of articles in leading journals on a number of subjects and has strong expertise in clinical research organisation and regulatory affairs. Cinzia was Professor of Molecular Genetics at the Medical School of the University of Rome, La Sapienza. She received a degree in biology and a PhD in microbiology from the University of Naples, and has spent a year at EMBL as a postdoctoral fellow.
