Biography
Vas Narasimhan is the first ever Chief Medical Officer of Novartis, aligning all functions within the Novartis Development organization under a unified, global umbrella to rapidly advance innovative therapies for patients. He is a member of the Novartis Executive Committee, responsible for overseeing the business operations of all Novartis Group companies, and leads a team of more than 15,000 across 140 global Development programs.
