Biography
Dr. Jean-Christophe Peter serves as Chief Scientific Officer of Obexia AG. Dr. Peter started his career in the field of G-protein coupled receptors & modulation of their activity by using antibodies. He continued to work on the antibody/antigen interaction, designed pharmacologically active antibodies & fragments thereof and established autoimmune disease models. He joined Professor Hofbauer’s group at the Biozentrum (Basel University). He is scientific manager of a center of excellence at Strasbourg. He received an award from the French National Academy of Pharmacy, the Young Investigator Award from the European Association for the Study of Obesity, and the International Award for Excellence in Clinical Research from the Endocrine Society & Pfizer. He holds PhD from Strasbourg University.
