Biography
Kevin McPhee was appointed General Counsel and Corporate Secretary in May 2016 and has primary responsibility for Oryx Petroleum’s legal affairs, including supervising public company continuous disclosure obligations, supporting board of directors activity, resolving disputes and co-ordinating related litigation, negotiating with regulators, and advising on debt and equity financing transactions. Kevin joined Oryx Petroleum in 2013 as Senior Corporate Counsel. Prior to joining Oryx Petroleum, he was a corporate associate with the law firm Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University. He is a licensed barrister and solicitor in the Province of Ontario, Canada.
