Biography
Dr. Isaac Kobrin is an internist educated in Israel with further training (Fullbright Fellowship) at the Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans, LA, USA. In 1989, he joned Hoffmann-La Roche and was responsible for the worldwide clinical development of key compounds withing the company's cardiovascular portfolio (from Phase 1 to marketing approval). In 1999, he joined Actelion as Senoir Vice President, head of clinical development, where he later was appointed to Chief Medical Officer. During his 22 years in the pharma industry, 3 drugs were approved under his leadership, and he was directly involved in numerous regulatory interactions with the US-FDA and the European EMEA/CHMP. In additon, Dr. Kobrin was actively involved in investor relations and business development.
