Biography
Prof. Dr. med. Mark Emberton is the Director of the Division of Surgery and Interventional Science at University College London. In this capacity he oversees three major research themes: tissue and energy, tissue and materials and regenerative surgery. His clinical work is conducted at University College London Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and centres on developing an innovation programme in the diagnosis and treatment of early prostate cancer. He is an active researcher, lectures widely and has published over 300 peer reviewed articles in numerous scientific journals. Mark Emberton is a founding Partner of London Urology Associates. He is a Founding Pioneer at the charity Prostate Cancer UK.
