Biography
Mr. Richard M. Ferrari, also known as Rich, serves as a Managing Director of De Novo Ventures; De Novo Ventures, L.P., De Novo Ventures II, L.P. and De Novo Ventures III, L.P. Mr. Ferrari co-founded De Novo Ventures in 2000. He serves at Saratoga Ventures Fund I, L.P., Saratoga Ventures Fund II, L.P., Saratoga Ventures Fund III, L.P. and Saratoga Ventures Fund IV, L.P. He has been Executive Chairman of SentreHEART, Inc. since May 25, 2016. He serves as a Business Development Advisor at Saratoga Ventures, L.P. He founded Saratoga Ventures, L.P in 1997. Mr. Ferrari served as an Acting Chairman and Interim Chief Executive Officer at Myoscience, Inc. Mr. Ferrari served as an Advisor of FitView Inc. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer of several medical technology companies. He served as an Advisor at Cytograft Tissue Engineering, Inc. He served as the Chief Executive Officer at Cardiovascular Imaging Systems since 1991. Prior to this from April 1990 to January 1991, he served as the President and acting Chief Executive Officer at Medstone International. Previously, he also co-founded The Medical Technology Group. From January 1986 to April 1990, he served as an Executive Vice President and General Manager at ADAC Laboratories, where he was responsible for the nuclear medicine, digital cardiology and information management and radiation therapy business units. He was also the Co-Founder at Integrated Vascular Systems. Prior to that, he was a Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CardioThoracic Systems, Inc. from June 1995 to March 2000 and President from August 1995 to 2000. In 2002, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Paracor Medical. He serves as the Chairman at Converge Medical. He served as the Chairman of Myoscience, Inc. until January 6, 2012. He served as the Chairman of CryoVascular Systems, Inc He served as the Chairman of ORATEC Interventions, Inc. since January 1997 and its Director since May 1996. He serves as a Director and Advisor at several start-up companies in the medical device industry. He serves as Director of EndoShape, Inc.
