Biography

 Mr. Lodewijk J. R. de Vink has been a Senior Advisor for North America at Wendel since joining on March 30, 2016. Mr. de Vink expertise to Wendel's investment and advisory teams on healthcare transactions globally and assists Wendel with its development plans in North America. He is President of the International Federation of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association. Mr. de Vink is a Founding Member of Blackstone Healthcare Partners, where he served as a Founding Partner from April 2003 to August 2015. He served as the Special Advisor and Consultant of Blackstone Healthcare Advisors at The Blackstone Group L.P. He was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Warner Lambert Company LLC till he retired in 2000. Mr. de Vink joined Warner-Lambert in 1988 as Vice President and President, International Operations. He served as the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Warner-Lambert Company LLC from 1999 to 2000, President since 1991 and from 1999 to 2000, Chief Operating Officer since 1991 and also served as its Executive Vice President and President of US Operations since 1990. He served as a Director of Warner-Lambert Company LLC since 1991. He served as President of Schering International since 1986. From 2000 to 2002, Mr. de Vink served at Credit Suisse First Boston. Previously, from 1978 to 1988, he was employed by Schering-Plough Corporation in various management and executive positions, including as Senior Vice President of Schering International since 1984. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of International Health Care Partners since 2000. He serves as Chairman of Global HealthCare Partners Ltd. He serves as Member of the Board of Managers at Monomer-Polymer & Dajac Laboratories, Inc. He has been a Director of Stiefel Laboratories Inc. since September 21, 2007 and Alcon Inc. since March 2002. He serves as a Director of MPD Acquisition LLC, Roche Group, Philharmonic-Symphony Society of New York Inc., and Bell Atlantic Corporation. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at Addison Capital Partners. He serves as a Member of the European Advisory Board of Rothschild & Cie. He serves as a Director of Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America and the United Negro College Fund. He is a Director of Nyenrode University and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. He is a Board of Directors of Royal Ahold. He is a member of Rothschild's Advisory Council and Board of Directors of New York Philharmonic. He is a Director of the National Actors' Theater, a Trustee of the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases and a Member of the International Advisory Board of Nijenrode University. He served as a Member of the Advisory Board of Sotheby's. He served as a Director of Roche Holding AG from 2004 to March 2013 and Verizon New York Inc. He served as a Director of NYNEX Corporation since July 20, 1995 and Flamel Technologies SA since January 2006. He served as a Director of Verizon New England Inc. He served as a Member of the Supervisory Board of Koninklijke Ahold N.V. from November 12, 1998 to 2005. Mr. de Vink served as a Member of the Supervisory Board of Ahold U.S.A., Inc. since November 12, 1998. He served as a Board member of PhRMA and its chairman in 1995 and as the Chairman in 1998/99 of the Council of the IFPMA. Mr. de Vink has more than 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Mr. de Vink graduated from Nijenrode, The Netherlands School of Business. He holds a B.B.A. from Washburn University in 1968 and an MBA from American University in 1969
